GETTING STARTED · FIRST STEP
Let's get to know your business.
Let's establish a strong start together.
Working with Connect Marketplace begins with a conversation about your offering, customers, and goals. You do not need to have a finished catalog or know all the technical details — what matters is that we determine together what you need and how we will get there.
This guide explains what to prepare for the first contact, which topics to discuss with our team, and how to move from agreement to store preparation.

EVERY BUSINESS HAS ITS OWN STARTING POINT
Where are you starting from?
You are launching your first online store
You have a product or offering that you want to present to customers. We will discuss catalog preparation, the sales method, and the basic steps for launching.
You already sell online
Send a link to your existing store and describe what you want to improve. Together, we will review your existing data, way of working, and needs for system integration.
You want to expand your sales
Tell us which markets, customers, or sales channels you want to reach. This is the starting point for a conversation about languages, logistics, marketing, and further development.
FROM THE FIRST INQUIRY TO STORE PREPARATION
How to start working together, step by step
Contact us and briefly introduce your business
State your company or brand name, what you sell, and whom the offering is intended for. Add a link to your existing website or social media, if you have them, as well as the contact person with whom we can continue the conversation.
Open the contact page →Let's discuss your goals and needs
Do you want to launch sales, replace an existing store, or open new channels? We will review your assortment, approximate number of products, available materials, order organization, and target markets.
If you use an ERP, warehouse program, or another business system, state its name and what you would like to integrate. The possibility and scope of integration are checked separately.
Align the package and scope of services
Together with the Connect team, check which cooperation model suits your needs. Clarify the included services, costs and billing method, marketing activities, and any additional work.
It is important to know who prepares the content, who enters the products, and what needs to be agreed on additionally. Write down open questions before confirming the cooperation.
Review sales packages →Subscription packages and contracts →Confirm the agreement and responsibilities
Before work begins, confirm the offer or agreed terms, the responsible persons, the initial scope of the store, and the order of tasks. Agree on how you will provide materials and exchange feedback.
The launch date is coordinated according to the project scope, material availability, and required integrations. If something is missing, agree on how and when you will prepare it.
Begin preparing the store
After confirming the agreement, the next steps are collecting materials, setting up the store, and assigning the necessary access rights according to the agreed plan. Check who on your team needs access and which tasks they will perform.
The store is prepared, checked, and only then launched. The agreed cooperation is the beginning of preparation; you will check readiness for actual orders with the Connect team.

What to write in your first inquiry?
A brief overview is enough to start:
- Company or brand: what you are called and what you do.
- Offering: which products or services you want to sell and the approximate size of the assortment.
- Existing online presence: online store, website, or social media, if you have them.
- Customers and markets: whom you want to sell to and in which areas.
- Main goal: what you want to launch, resolve, or improve.
- Specific needs: for example, B2B sales, in-store pickup, or integration with a business system.
- Contact: the responsible person's name, email, and phone number for continuing the conversation.
If you do not have some of the answers yet, feel free to mention that. The first conversation also serves to clarify priorities together.
Before getting started, make sure everyone understands
What are you preparing?
Who will provide business data, photos, descriptions, prices, and availability information? Who will approve the content and who will handle new orders?
What does Connect handle?
Which setup, content, integration, and marketing tasks are included? How do you request assistance and arrange additional services?
The scope of services and terms of cooperation are determined by your confirmed offer and agreed terms. Individual platform capabilities depend on the package, permissions, and activated services.
